Round one of the British F4 esports championship

Race one of the season took place at Donington Park’s GP layout. Drive Lounge racing driver, Leo Brown took P2 in qualifying put him in a great position for the start of the race.

It was an exciting race right up to the line with a battle taking place between Henry Moore of Benik Racing and Leo. The two drivers broke away from the rest of the pack with a 4 way challenge taking place behind them battling for third place.

Leo did a great job, staying just behind Henry and even making a challenge for the win on the final corner, ultimately finishing just a tenth of a second behind Henry to secure P2.

Kieran in his first professional competitive race for the team did a great job qualifying but faced a challenge in the race when he suffered damage to his car in a racing incident during the middle of the session and ultimately finished P30.

Congratulations to our partners at Team Benik who took the race win and a great finish for the combined team.

It was a fantastic start to the season for Drive Lounge Racing and puts us in a great position for the season.

At the end of the first race with Team Benik securely leading the team championship we were thrilled to be in 4th place ahead of some experienced teams in our rookie season!
